What Is Integrative Pelvic Floor Therapy?
Integrative Pelvic Floor Therapy is a trauma-informed, integrative approach that combines physical therapy, yoga, and naturopathic insight to support the healing and realignment of your pelvic floor.

I am certified in Integrative Pelvic Floor Therapy through Dr. Kathryn Kloos, ND—a modality that evolved from Tami Kent’s Holistic Pelvic Care™ and incorporates whole-person, naturopathic therapies to restore both physical structure and emotional flow in the pelvic bowl.

In our work together, I bring not only my clinical training, but also decades of experience as a yoga practitioner and certified yoga instructor. I use principles of yoga therapy to help you engage the body with mindfulness, alignment, and breath. You’ll receive guidance on posture, functional movement, and safe strengthening or stretching exercises to support your healing between visits.

Sessions may include:
-
Gentle internal and external pelvic floor evaluation
-
Intravaginal massage, myofascial release, and abdominal massage
-
Assessment for diastasis recti, prolapse, muscle tone, and postural patterns
-
Breathwork, visualization, and Embodied Alignment to support emotional and energetic healing
-
Mindful movement and yoga-based exercises to support core integrity, mobility, and nervous system regulation
-
Clear education about your pelvic anatomy and simple practices for home care

Why Choose an Integrative Approach?
You may have been told that pelvic floor issues are “normal.” That pain with sex, leaking urine, or heaviness is just part of being postpartum, or part of getting older, or that somehow you are at fault. You may have been told to “just do Kegels” or worse, that your symptoms are all in your head.

I’m here to offer another story.

Your body is wise. Your symptoms are not failures. They’re signals. And you deserve care that honors your whole self—body, mind, and spirit.
With Holistic Pelvic Floor Therapy, we don’t just treat symptoms. We create space for healing, for connection, and for a more grounded relationship with your body.

What to Expect During a Session
We begin with conversation. You’ll have time to share your story, your concerns, and your goals. I’ll review your health history, explain the anatomy of your pelvic floor using visual models, and answer any questions you have.
With your full, informed consent, we may proceed with a gentle internal exam—a short, respectful assessment of the pelvic floor muscles, done without stirrups or a speculum. This allows me to assess tone, strength, tenderness, and muscle coordination in a safe and supportive environment.
