Equity Pricing
Equity pricing is one way I work to reduce barriers to care and to acknowledge that access to healthcare is not distributed evenly.

This program exists in response to the very real ways that income inequity, systemic racism, ableism, fatphobia, homophobia, transphobia, and other forms of structural oppression impact who is able to access medical and wellness care. Black and Indigenous people, other People of Color, queer and trans folks, people with disabilities, larger-bodied people, and people with lower incomes are disproportionately affected by these barriers.

Equity pricing allows me to offer care within a shared-responsibility model. Clients who are able to pay full price, along with those who choose to pay toward the higher end of the sliding scale, help create capacity for others to access care. Through this, I aim to support a system of collective care that is more just, sustainable, and human.

Equity Pricing Sliding Scale:
-
New patient visits (75 minutes): $210–$260
-
Return visits (60 minutes): $130-$180
I also offer a limited number of scholarship appointments each month for those experiencing significant financial hardship, which reduce the visit fee to $75 per appointment.

Who This Program Is Designed to Support
My intention is that equity pricing primarily serves people who hold marginalized identities and those who experience financial hardship in ways shaped by systemic inequity. This may include people who identify as Black, Indigenous, or People of Color; disabled or chronically ill; LGBTQIA+; larger-bodied; low-income; or who hold multiple marginalized identities.

If you’re wondering whether equity pricing is the right fit for you, I encourage you to explore the Green Bottle self-assessment tool created by Alexis J. Cunningfolk. This resource offers thoughtful guidance on sliding-scale models and helps clarify the difference between financial sacrifice and financial hardship.
How to Use the Self-Assessment
-
If you relate most closely to the bottle on the right:
This program is for you. -
If you relate most closely to the bottle in the middle:
This program may be appropriate for you. I ask that you choose a rate toward the higher end of the sliding-scale range, as the lowest rates are reserved for those experiencing the greatest financial and systemic barriers. -
If you relate most closely to the bottle on the left:
Equity pricing is likely not the right fit. I encourage you to consider standard rates.
If you don’t see yourself clearly reflected in the descriptions above, or if you’re navigating circumstances that fall outside these general frameworks, please get in touch. I offer a limited number of scholarship appointments each month for those experiencing significant financial hardship. If this is what you’re requesting, please note it on the form below so I can review your needs with care.

If you are in a position of financial abundance and would like to help expand access to care, you’re invited to contribute to the scholarship fund. Suggested donations of $25–$275 help offset the cost of an office visit for someone in need. Contributions are always optional and deeply appreciated.

How to Access Equity Pricing & Scholarship
You will never be asked to prove income, provide documentation, or justify the amount you choose to pay. I do not believe in assessing worthiness or placing people under scrutiny in order to receive care.

This practice is built on trust. I trust that each person understands their own circumstances and will choose a payment level that is honest, sustainable, and aligned with their capacity at this time. Those who are able to contribute more help make care accessible for those who need additional support; this is how we care for one another as a community.

If equity pricing or a scholarship would help you access care, you are welcome to let me know at any time. These conversations can happen upfront or later on, and we can always make adjustments as needed. My intention is to meet you with the same integrity, generosity, and from-the-heart care that I bring to my clinical work.
